Votes:
- Idea of club is to get people from the Pullman-Moscow community together with Students and club members to teach business, marketing and networking skills.
- We want to teach Club Members to use morals and ethics while selling their respective product. We decided that before we, as a club, do a sell-a-thon of any sort all the people who are going to participate MUST sign a "Morals and Ethics Contract"
- When Club Members graduate from WSU or the U of I they should take with them skills of Multi-Level Marketing, friendships, contacts and hopefully a well established business. Along with the above qualities, we hope to teach our Club Members that making continued donations to a good charity is a very notable and honorable thing to do.
- In order for the MLM business club to keep a good name within the WSU Student body and the Pullman-Moscow community we will only allow recognized MLM businesses use our club to help them out. The MLM Club allows anyone to be a Member whether they are a part of an MLM business or not. In order to recognize a MLM Business we request the Club Member to supply the MLM Clubs' Officers with complete documentation about their business, to include the headquarters address and phone number, the name of their immediate upline, and any other pertinent information. We will talk with the headquarters, upline and the Attorney Generals Office in the State of the Headquarters. If all checks out we will recognize the MLM Business.
- Today we recognize: Amway, LCI, Excel, AT&T, Herbalife.
- We are Planning on scheduling a Club Membership drive, and a "Get You Feet Wet in Networking" during Schedule pick-up in August.
- We also have plans to speak with several Student Groups and housing groups to try to build membership.
- Executive decision- Suspend the Constitution and appoint Club Members in to Officer positions only for the 1996-97 School Year. Hold Elections next year as scheduled.
- Executive decision- Make and accept the "Morals and Ethics Contract".
